As I mentioned during the P&P session yesterday, I have some ‘burning’ questions that we might think about in terms of the use of blogs for learning.
Q1. How can we evaluate students’ blogging experiences? What ways would best provide us with appropriate ‘feedback’ and ‘evidence’ of the effectiveness of the blog environment?
Q2. What are the key differences between blogging and discussion boards? What are the pros and cons of each format? (Something we talk at length about yesterday, which I found very helpful - thanks!)
Q3. How might we best assess students’ learning and understanding through a blog (rather than other more traditional forms of assessment)? What might this mean in the terms of the ways we currently define “assessment”?
Q4. Finally, what IS learner centredness? What might this mean for the student “body politic”?
