Case-study One: team development day
The organisation
Young and growing voluntary-sector organisation, entrepreneurial "can-do" culture. A young team expanding to meet new challenges

The dilemma
How to maintain their style while managing increasing demands, grotth and complexity of work.

What JJA did before the day
Heard the stories of the individuals in the team, to clarify what needed attention. This showed us a range of issues

* Change in relationship with the team leader, less personal contact because of her demanding schedule
* lack of clear roles as new tasks emerged
* reluctance to challenge team leader about their personal style and lack of clear direction
